Axios: House votes to allow committees to enforce Barr, McGahn subpoenas in court
It’s the most aggressive step yet that Democrats have taken toward combatting Trump’s stonewalling.
This means Nadler could soon enforce subpoenas against Don McGahn, Hope Hicks and Annie Donaldson. Nadler said, “For two years under Republican control, President Trump and his admin were able to evade accountability and transparency with the American people. I am standing here with my colleagues today to say that era is over.”
