AP: Starbucks to close stores for bias training
Starbucks says it will close its more than 8,000 U.S. stores for several hours next month to conduct racial-bias training to its nearly 175,000 workers.
This announcement comes amid calls for a boycott of the stores after two African-American men were arrested in Philadelphia Starbucks. A company representative said the Starbucks corporate offices will be closed as well.
