ABC News: Pete Buttigieg makes history as 1st openly gay Cabinet member confirmed by Senate
Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg has made history as the first openly gay Cabinet member in U.S. history to be confirmed by the Senate.
Buttigieg was confirmed by a vote of 86 to 13.
