Lower Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes will be the place to celebrate the essential workers who were on the frontlines fighting COVID-19 in a parade on July 7.
NYC mayor Bill de Blasio announced the event Monday, at the same time revealing the city’s seven-day average positivity rate now stands at a record low of 0.59%.
The celebration, called The Hometown Heroes Parade, will take place along the Canyon of Heroes in lower Manhattan on July 7, about 16 months after New York City became the nation's first COVID-19 epicenter. https://t.co/s0yDxnJA0k
