Maria Butina, a Russian gun rights activist who stands accused developing a covert influence operation in the United States, has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy.
Butina will spend some time behind bars. She is charged with setting up a covert influence operation in the U.S. with her boyfriend, who was a GOP operative.
