ABC News: AMA calls for total ban on all e-cigarette, vaping products
The AMA policy calls for a ban of vaping products not approved to help people quit. But so far, none have been reviewed or approved for that use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The American Medical Association President Patrice A. Harris, M.D., M.A. says: “It’s simple – we must keep nicotine products out of the hands of young people and that’s why we are calling for an immediate ban on all e-cigarette and vaping products from the market.”
