ABC: Elizabeth Warren pledges to nominate a public school teacher for Education secretary
Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s pledge to nominate a public school teacher is a direct rebuke of the current Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos.
While speaking to the American Federation of Teachers in Philadelphia, Warren said:
“I’ll just be blunt: Betsy DeVos is the worst Secretary of Education we’ve seen.”
