ABC Chicago: ‘Empire’ actor indicted on 16 felony counts by grand jury
A Cook County grand jury has returned a 16-count indictment against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, according to court records.
The charges are not only related to the initial police report Smollett filed alleging he was attacked, but also for an interview he did with police.
