Lindsey Graham, Back From COVID Battle, Urges People To Get Vaccinated

Welcome

WASHINGTON, DC - FEBRUARY 11: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) arrives at the U.S. Capitol on the third day of former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial on February 11, 2021 in Washington, DC. House impeachment managers will make the case that Trump was responsible for the deadly January 6th attack at the U.S. Capitol and he should be convicted and barred from holding public office again. Lindsey Graham was back on the Senate floor today, eight days after announcing he tested positive for COVID. Graham, who is vaccinated, took a minute to encourage others to get inoculated. He made a short statement, unmasked, saying “I had a couple of really bad days, but I’m doing betterI’m confident that if I had not have had the vaccine it could have been a lot worse.”

The South Carolina senator pointed out just 50% of residents in his state are vaccinated.

Graham has not been anti-vaxx, but he has mocked mask-wearing. During his short speech on the floor today he appeared unmasked, but he was apparently seen wearing a mask at other places in the Capitol today. There is no word about whether his general stance on mask-wearing has changed.
