Lawsuit By Parents of N. Korea Torture Victim Announced As WH Releases Pictures From Historic Meeting

Welcome

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 30: Parents of Otto Warmbier, Fred and Cindy Warmbier are acknowledged during the State of the Union address in the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives January 30, 2018 in Washington, DC. Otto Warmbier’s family claims their son was treated abusively after being jailed by North Korean officials in Pyongyang and now they are taking legal action. While in a coma, Warmbier was returned to the U.S.  He died a few days later.

The Washington Post reports:

“The family of Otto Warmbier filed an extraordinary lawsuit against North Korea in federal court Thursday alleging that the 22-year-old college student was “brutally tortured and murdered” by Kim Jong Un’s “criminal” regime during 17 months in captivity.”

This comes in the same week that Donald Trump called Kim Jong Un very honorable.

Today the White House is also releasing pictures of a meeting Donald Trump says was unplanned between new Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the North Korean dictator.

Trump announced the photos and details of this meeting in a rambling interview on Fox & Friends this morning.
