GOP Congressman, A Veteran, Says Decision To Withdraw Troops From Iraq & Afghanistan Puts “Our Safety At Risk”

A Republican Congressman is sounding the alarm on Donald Trump’s abrupt decision to withdraw 2,500 U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Iraq before he leaves office in January. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a pilot in the Air National Guard calls the move a “mistake… that will only embolden our enemies to plot attacks against the United States and our allies.”

“I think it’s part of [Trump’s] desire to say he did it but also maybe an attempt to hobble the next administration,” @RepKinzinger says on the US withdrawing troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
