Another bizarre afternoon in a seemingly never-ending series bizarre-ness. Today, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg emerged with a threat to Robert Mueller’s team. (Who the heck is Sam Nunberg? ) He says he will defy a subpoena from the special prosecutor and said: “Let him arrest me.” But that was just the beginning. In the hour after the news broke Nunberg proceeded to call into MSNBC and CNN. During a series of cable interviews, he said that he knows that Carter Page colluded with the Russians, he also said he thinks Trump may have done something with Russia during the election. He also accused Hope Hicks of having an affair with Corey Lewandowski and says Sarah Sanders should be fired.
"Collusion" is a word @realDonaldTrump wants to disappear but today, on live TV, fmr. Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg claimed:
1- Trump "may very well" have done "something" with Russia during election
2- Carter Page colluded with Russians
3- Mueller believes Roger Stone colluded— Jim Sciutto (@jimsciutto) March 5, 2018
