Rep. Maxine Waters of California has the most quoted line on why she’s won’t be attending Donald Trump’s State of the Union:  “Why would I take my time to go and sit and listen to a liar.”  Eleven Democrats in the house are opting out of the event, less than the 60 who refused to attend Trump’s inauguration.  According to CNN, here’s a list of Representatives who are boycotting tonight’s address:

Senator Cory Booker is bringing as his guest a “dreamer.”

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is also not attending.  Trump has called on her to resign saying “her mind is shot.”   The Justice has called Trump a “faker.”
