The crowded Democratic field will get together for the first time in Miami later this month and we now know which candidates will appear together. This is the line-up.

The lineups were decided by a blind draw at NBC News’ headquarters in New York. A representative of each campaign was invited to attend.

It’s interesting to note that on the first night only one candidate who is polling in the top five, Elizabeth Warren appears. On the second note, the other top five candidates, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg are all stacked together.

Politico notes:

Most candidates, if not all, had hoped to draw a lectern alongside Biden or Sanders, eager to draft off the early front-runners’ stature — and to emphasize their own contrasts with them.

Harris and Buttigieg will get them both.

“Everybody wants to be on stage with the front-runners,” said Doug Herman, a Democratic strategist.
