Dan joined Don Lemon on CNN last night to talk about the anonymous New York Times op-ed saying:
Let’s see clearly what’s happened here. If we are to believe what was reported in “the New York Times” a senior administration official has used the word, deranged, in reference to the president, amoral. I often find we forget a president of the United States does literally have his finger on the nuclear trigger and if we are talking about a deranged president, that should give us deep concern. This we know, Don, sanity is not a partisan political issue.
Here’s what else he said:
"We all know the history of the Nixon administration, but even during the worst of the Watergate times, nothing even comparable to this. This is totally uncharted territory for us," says journalist Dan Rather about the NYT op-ed by an unnamed senior administration official pic.twitter.com/BdOzHSbOgM

There is also a word Dan used during his CNN appearance that has garnered a lot of searches. Wondering what megalomania is? Merriam-Webster has the answer.
📈Searches for 'megalomania' have risen over 4000% tonight after Dan Rather's appearance on CNN. https://t.co/3gBI0av5mM
