More Cabinet Changes Coming; So Long Shulkin?

Welcome

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 09: U.S. President Donald Trump gives the pen he used to sign an executive order supporting veterans as they transition from military to civilian life to Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin (R) during a ceremony in the Oval Office with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Neilsen at the White House January 9, 2018 in Washington, DC. No, it’s not over.  More firings are in the offing in the Trump cabinet.  Latest to be shown the door will reportedly be David Shulkin, Secretary of the VA.  One of Donald Trump’s closest confidantes, Chris Ruddy is saying Shulkin is a goner.

The fact that Trump is perplexed at the notion of chaos in the White House says everything you need to know.  With his TV remote permanently frozen on Fox, the real world is eluding our leader.

As for Shulkin, he’s a charter member of the Trump cabinet’s frequent flyer program.  His most famous trip was to Europe where he accepted airfare for his wife along with tickets to Wimbledon.  Price tag, $122,000 taxpayer dollars.

Along with Shulkin, there are reports that HUD Secretary Ben Carson, and his $31,000 dining room table, could also soon be out.
