From Martin Rather — reporting from Santa Fe High School — according to his sources, a teacher who was called in to substitute today was one of the fatalities along with three students in that class.

From CBS News: The suspect that police officers detained has been identified as Dimitrios Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old from the Santa Fe area.

From The Associated Press: According to Santa Fe Texas school officials, possible explosives have been found inside the high school. Officers are working to disarm them.

The Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzalez, says 8-10 people (mostly students) are dead, several others injured at Sante Fe High School in Sante Fe, Texas after a shooter stormed the school and opened fire. A police officer is among the injured.
One suspect is in custody and a second person of interest is also being held. Both are said to be students at the school.
