The Department of Justice announced Special Counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian organizations for interfering in the 2016 election. These are the first indictments of Russians in Robert Mueller’s investigation. According to The New York Times, “In a 37-page indictment filed in United States District Court, Mr. Mueller said that the 13 individuals have conspired since 2014 to violate laws that prohibit foreigners from spending money to influence federal elections in the United States.

According to Bloomberg, none of the defendants are in custody.
