An unusually quiet Easter weekend suddenly shattered by Trump tweets on his latest enemy, the evil Amazon:
While we are on the subject, it is reported that the U.S. Post Office will lose $1.50 on average for each package it delivers for Amazon. That amounts to Billions of Dollars. The Failing N.Y. Times reports that “the size of the company’s lobbying staff has ballooned,” and that…

…does not include the Fake Washington Post, which is used as a “lobbyist” and should so REGISTER. If the P.O. “increased its parcel rates, Amazon’s shipping costs would rise by $2.6 Billion.” This Post Office scam must stop. Amazon must pay real costs (and taxes) now!

If you wonder what might have driven Trump to the tweet machine, consider this story from the front page of this morning’s Washington Post, owned by Jeff Bezos, who also owns Amazon.
Here’s the story’s lead:
“The carefully maintained secrecy around President Trump’s finances is under unprecedented assault a year into his presidency, with three different legal teams with different agendas trying to pry open the Trump Organization’s books.”
Trump is reportedly “obsessed” with Amazon. Some say it’s because he believes (wrongly) that Amazon is taking advantage of the U.S. Postal Service. But this grudge is also about Amazon’s owner, who Trump thinks controls the editorial (wrong again) of the Washington Post. Bezos and Trump aren’t pals. From Vanity Fair:
“In 2016, Jeff Bezos offered to strap Donald Trump, then a presidential hopeful, to a rocket and blast him into orbit. “I have a rocket company,” he joked at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment Summit, referring to Blue Origin. “So the capability is there.”
As with many agendas in Trumpworld, this is personal and petty.
