In the middle of a crisis the likes of which his state has never seen , Senator Ted Cruz and his family bid his fellow Texans “buena Suerte” (good luck) and left the Lone Star State for Cancun. Guess there wasn’t much he could do to help.
Multiple tweets and photos from Houston show Cruz and his family boarding a flight while his fellow Texans suffer with have no heat (some even burn their personal possessions to stay warm), stand in long lines for food and have no running water. Have a nice vacay!
