We can’t stop thinking about that odd oped. Imagine trying to claim you’re non-partisan in Rupert Murdoch’s newspaper. Brett Kavanaugh blames a Democratic plot and the Clintons for all his woes, then coordinates with state-run media to clear his name? Remember, many called this a job interview. But he plays a weepy version of the blame game that would dissuade anyone in corporate America from hiring him yet the Senate is about to give him one of the most important jobs in the country, for life.
Showing you’re non-partisan by going onto FOX News and then pleading for confirmation in the Wall Street Journal is a curious strategy.

Last week it was an “orchestrated political hit.” This week “The Supreme Court must never be viewed as a partisan institution.” Nice try but that’s a pretty tough sell to anyone outside the GOP members of the Senate.

From CNN:
“Brett Kavanaugh had a “Matt Damon” problem.
The caricature of the Supreme Court nominee by the actor on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend had crystallized what lots and lots of people — including many who were favorably inclined to Kavanaugh’s judicial record — thought while watching his testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee last Thursday: Why the hell is he so angry?”
