Singer R. Kelly sat down with CBS This Morning’s Gayle King for one of the strangest interviews we’ve ever seen. The 52-year-old Kelly, facing 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, is out on bond. He addressed the allegations against him telling King “I’m not Lucifer.” He also made himself out to be the victim exclaiming:

“I need help because my heart is so big. People betrayed me, and I keep forgiving them.” 

“I’m very tired of all the lies. I’ve been hearing things, you know, and seeing things on the blogs. and you know, I’m just — I’m tired.” 

“Use your common sense. Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to, love me if you want, but use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me with my crazy past and what I’ve been through, oh, right now, I just think I need to be a monster and hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and — and don’t let them eat and don’t let them out unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle. Stop it. Y‘all quit playing. Quit playing. I didn’t do this stuff. this is not me! I’m fighting for my life.”
