Dallas News: Former San Antonio mayor Julián Castro joins crowded 2020 Democratic race for president
Julián Castro, courting progressives in hopes he can overtake a large field of Democrats, announced Saturday morning in his hometown that he’s running for president.
Castro’s platform includes fixing the housing crisis, accepting no PAC money, rejoining the Paris accord, medicare for all, universal pre-K and more.
