Sometimes it’s easy to ignore the lies that people tell on social media, but Monday night one CNN anchor decided enough is enough. Anderson Cooper spent almost 10 minutes of his broadcast debunking this tweet put out by Donald Trump Jr.
It’s a shame that CNN’s ratings are down 41%. What’s worse is there’s a simple solution that they refuse to accept. Stop Lying to try to make @realDonaldTrump look bad. https://t.co/O3XyWchsJh pic.twitter.com/BCUCxKnOvO

That tweet suggested the attached photo was Cooper reporting from Hurricane Florence, suggesting Cooper was somehow lying about the storm to make his father look bad. A couple problems, first the tweet makes no sense and second it was actually a photo from a hurricane Cooper covered 10 years ago. Rather than ignoring it, Cooper decided to school Don Jr. and others who spread lies about the photo.
what are the chances @DonaldJTrumpJr apologizes for lying about me? Im not holding my breath. Check out the video below rebutting his false claim. https://t.co/r8fRX7VM3e
