Arizona Republic: Former U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl will be John McCain’s successor in the U.S. Senate
Former U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl has agreed to serve in the U.S. Senate at least through the end of the year, a representative for Gov. Doug Ducey said.
We now know who will take the late Senator John McCain’s seat, at least until the end of the year. It’s apparently an appointment both McCain’s family and Donald Trump support.
Jon Kyl is a dear friend of mine and John’s. It’s a great tribute to John that he is prepared to go back into public service to help the state of Arizona.
