BBC: South Africa’s Winnie Mandela dies at 81
The anti-apartheid campaigner and former wife of Nelson Mandela has died aged 81, her PA says.
Nelson Mandela’s widow reportedly died after a long illness. Winnie Mandela was an anti-apartheid activist in her own right who also held several government positions.
