Millions of Americans are waiting for stimulus checks that now are in limbo. As the AP reports, “Trump’s sudden demand for $2,000 checks for most Americans was swiftly rejected by House Republicans on Thursday as his haphazard actions throw a massive COVID relief and government funding bill into chaos.” So what is Donald Trump doing while the stimulus bill is stalled? The White House added a bizarre note to his schedule today saying:
“As the Holiday season approaches, President Trump will continue to work tirelessly for the American People. His schedule includes many meetings and calls.”
But surprise, surprise, this is what he was actually doing today. (Watch above)
After the White House went out of its way to say President Trump had many meetings and calls today, without listing any, @petermorrisCNN got video of him on the golf course. pic.twitter.com/x3jtrUOMmH

Here’s what’s about to happen:
Unemployment insurance for millions will run out on Saturday.
The federal government will run out of money on Monday and shut down unless action is taken.
The $600 stimulus is suddenly in limbo.
One GOP aide told Politico, it’s a ‘complete clusterf—-.”
Trump’s main goal, said those close to the president and White House, is to grab attention and send a message to his base that he’s more supportive of Americans than Congress as he plots a run for reelection in 2024 https://t.co/4JgLUd1G9I
