Barack Obama gave his first interviews post-election to CBS. In the interviews promoting his book “A Promised Land,” he also spoke about Donald Trump’s refusal to accept that Joe Biden has been elected president. The former president told 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley that he is especially disturbed by members of the GOP (watch above):

“I’m more troubled by the fact that other Republican officials who clearly know better are going along with this, are humoring him in this fashion. It is one more step in delegitimizing, not just the incoming Biden administration, but democracy generally. And that’s a dangerous path.”

Obama’s interviews air Sunday. “A Promised Land” hits bookshelves Tuesday.
